The Irish Wedding Professionals Association is a non profit association created by Irish wedding vendors. Our purpose is to support, educate, and elevate standards within our industry while building a collaborative and inclusive community.

Membership is open to all wedding professionals in Ireland, including photographers, videographers, planners, stylists, florists, musicians, celebrants, hair and makeup artists, venues, and all other related suppliers.

Members receive access to educational resources, networking events, webinars, member spotlights, business development conversations, industry insights, and a community of supportive peers.

Yes. Applications are reviewed to ensure that members are working within the wedding industry and aligned with our code of conduct and standards.

After uploading the required documents and processing payment, you will be sent an email to confirm your account and create your login credentials. Our team verifies every application, and will be in touch if they require more information.

No. The association is run voluntarily by wedding vendors who give their time to support the wider industry.

IWPA board members are elected by the current board. If you would like to be considered, please get in touch with us to express your interest and share a little about your background and strengths.
We are currently seeking an additional board member to support our marketing activities.
Board members receive a complimentary IWPA membership in exchange for their time, contribution, and commitment to the association.

Yes. Emerging or newer professionals are welcome. We now have an Emerging Artist category for those in their first three years of business.

Spotlights are curated by our editorial team. Members can submit images or video for consideration. Not all submissions will be selected, but we encourage members to submit their best work for review.

We occasionally open opportunities for members who want to support specific projects, committees, or initiatives. If you would like to contribute your skills please contact us.

No. Only the registered individuals may attend IWPA events.

Generally, no. Some events may allow limited guest passes, which will be clearly noted in the event details. Otherwise, only registered IWPA members may attend.

No. Memberships are non-transferable and are tied to the individual person (or two people if you have a Studio Membership) at the time of signing up.
