Welcome to the IWPA

The IWPA (Irish Wedding Professionals Association) is a non profit community and resource hub created for Irish wedding industry vendors. It is run voluntarily, with the purpose of elevating standards, education, connection, and support across the wider wedding industry.

The goal is to create a place where every type of wedding vendor can learn, grow, and feel part of something bigger than their own business. Through workshops, panels, editorial collaboration opportunities, and open conversation, the IWPA champions community over competition and celebrates the craft, creativity, and evolving professionalism of the modern Irish wedding industry.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Optimising the Body
We begin with an optional, professionally guided wellness and journalling session led by Olivia of The Light Practice. This structured, skills-based workshop is designed specifically for wedding professionals working in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.

The session focuses on:

  • Sustainable goal setting for the year ahead

  • Practical stress management tools

  • Guided breathwork and visualisation to calm the nervous system

All activities are guided, individual, and entirely optional, with no requirement for group sharing.

Optimising the Business
Following industry breakout discussions, Anouska of Anouska Love Story will lead a focused session on Your Business Is Your Brand, covering positioning, storytelling, and practical visibility wins, all aligned to long-term business goals.

Industry Breakouts & Discussion
Two facilitated breakout sessions allow members to connect within aligned and mixed industry groups, share insights, and discuss challenges and opportunities facing the wedding industry today.

Networking & Experience
Enjoy afternoon tea served at Slane Castle, followed by optional guided tours of the Castle and Distillery. The bar will open afterward, offering space for relaxed conversation and connection.
